GHATSHILA – A health check-up camp was organized on Sunday at Ghatshila sub-jail under the directives of JHALSA Ranchi, facilitated by the Ghatshila Sub-Divisional Legal Services Committee. The medical camp aimed at ensuring the well-being of prisoners through thorough health screenings.

A joint team of doctors from Ghatshila Sub-Divisional Hospital and Dhalbhumgarh Hospital examined 30 inmates. From Ghatshila, doctors Dr. R.N. Soren, Dr. Uday Prakash, Dr. Namita Jha, and Dr. Neelima Tigga provided their services. Meanwhile, Dr. Samay Kumar Hembram and Binay Krishna Pramanik from Dhalbhumgarh Hospital, along with ANMs Richa Kumari and Samita Kerketta, actively contributed.

The camp saw the presence of Ghatshila sub-jail managers Satyendra Kumar and Sudipta Sinha, ensuring smooth coordination. The Legal Services Committee panel advocate Sunil Kumar Sheet, court staff members Salkhan Tudu and Bhushan Chandra Manki, along with para-legal volunteer Kanchan Kar, extended their support during the event.
