JAMSHEDPUR – The prolonged closure of the main road at Kadma KD Flat has become a major concern, with growing pressure on Jamshedpur Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal to intervene.
Sanjeev Acharya, convener of Jharkhand Kranti Sena and Sarva Daliya Jan Ekta Manch, met with the Deputy Commissioner and submitted a memorandum demanding clarification over the road closure. He questioned whether the closure was carried out under her orders or if it happened without her knowledge. Acharya also sought details about the legal basis for the decision and asked when the road would be reopened for public use.
Expressing frustration, Acharya highlighted that despite continuous follow-ups and communications for the past 11 months, no resolution has been reached. He warned of intensified protests if immediate action is not taken. “If the matter is ignored any longer, residents and representatives will be forced to protest and surround both the Deputy Commissioner’s office and the Tata Steel UISL office,” he said.
The closure has caused significant inconvenience to the residents of Kadma, disrupting daily commutes and access to essential services. Acharya emphasized the urgency of reopening the road and urged authorities to take swift measures to resolve the matter.
The issue has sparked widespread concern among the local community, who are now eagerly awaiting a response from the administration.
