MEDININAGAR – The World Human Rights Day was celebrated on Tuesday at the District Office of the Human Rights Council in Sudna, Palamu. The program was chaired by District President Sandhya Devi, who emphasized the importance of Human Rights Day and the council’s role in society.
She stated that the council’s mission is to secure justice, rights, and dignity for the underprivileged and oppressed. Sandhya Devi added, “Our team in Palamu is dedicated to exposing injustices and fighting for human rights. In the case of Sudna Balika Grih, where heinous crimes were committed against girls, we will ensure the culprits are punished.”
Call for Justice and Accountability
Coordinator Ruchir Kumar Tiwari reiterated the council’s commitment to human values. He urged society to treat every individual equally and uphold human dignity. He remarked, “The atrocities at Balika Grih must not go unpunished. Those involved, including officials colluding in the crime, must face strict legal action.”
The council demanded a thorough investigation into the Balika Grih incident. They appealed for a probe by the CBI or a retired High Court judge to uncover the truth and bring justice to the victims.
Strong Resolution to Protect Human Rights
The event witnessed discussions on ensuring justice for the Balika Grih victims and addressing systemic issues. Members called for strict penalties against those exploiting vulnerable individuals under the guise of protection.
