JAMSHEDPUR – The Jharkhand boys’ throwball team delivered an outstanding performance, clinching the bronze medal at the 34th National Junior Throwball Championship held in Indore, Madhya Pradesh, from December 9 to 11. This achievement marks a significant milestone for the state in the sport of throwball.
Dr. Rajesh Gupta, President of the Jharkhand State Throwball Association, applauded the players’ determination and hard work. “This victory is a testament to the players’ unwavering commitment. It will inspire more youth to pursue throwball and elevate the sport’s stature in Jharkhand. Our association remains committed to supporting and encouraging our players,” he stated.
Association Secretary Nagina Kumar highlighted the team’s collective effort and excellent coaching that led to their success. “The entire team has proven their strength and skills. This achievement sets the stage for even greater success at national and international levels,” Kumar added.
The team received immense appreciation from sports enthusiasts and officials. Vice President Jamil Ansari, along with association members Sunil Chakraborty and Vedant Kaustav, extended their congratulations and best wishes to the players.
