JAMSHEDPUR – Multiple trains through Tatanagar station face major schedule changes as South Eastern Railway conducts critical infrastructure work.
The non-interlocking work impacts Adra division operations. The maintenance continues till December 5.
Meanwhile, several express services face disruptions. The Tatanagar-Hatia Express stops running from December 1.
Moreover, the Kharagpur-Ranchi MEMU suspends operations. These cancellations extend through December 5.
The Kharagpur-Hatia Express sees route changes. It now terminates at Adra station.
Furthermore, the Vande Bharat takes an alternate path. It travels via Muri-Gunda Bihar-Chandil route.
Additionally, this change affects specific dates. The diversions occur on December 1, 4, and 5.
The Ranchi-Howrah Express also modifies its route. This change applies on December 1.
Similarly, Anand Vihar Terminal-Puri Express takes a detour. It runs through Gomo-Anara-Purulia-Chandil.
The Tejas Rajdhani faces schedule adjustments. It departs Bhubaneswar one hour late.
"These changes ensure better railway infrastructure," notes a senior railway official.
