Six Injured in Head-On Collision Between Two Tempos in Palamu

MEDININAGAR – A head-on collision between two tempos on the Japla-Pathra main road near Beni village in Palamu left six people injured late Tuesday night. The victims were rushed to Hussainabad Sub-Divisional Hospital with assistance from local villagers.

The injured, identified as Chanku Mehta, Shobha Devi, Binod Mehta, Preeti Kumari, Sanjana Kumari, and Suchit Kumar, received first aid at the hospital. Five of them, who sustained serious injuries, were later referred to Medinirai Medical College for advanced treatment. Binod Mehta was discharged after receiving medical care.

The victims, all members of the same family from Kishunpur village, were returning home after attending a wedding ceremony at Gajanadham. The collision occurred when their tempo collided head-on with another vehicle traveling toward Pathra near Beni village.

The police have initiated an investigation to determine the cause of the accident.
