District Targets Illegal Mining, Seizes Two Vehicles in Late-Night Raid

JAMSHEDPUR – On November 22, 2024, the district administration conducted a late-night raid to curb illegal mining and mineral transport. The operation, ordered by District Magistrate Ananya Mittal, was carried out by the district mining office.

Two vehicles, one in Sidhgora (JH05CQ-4489) and another in Birsanagar (JH10AD-5627), were caught transporting sand without valid permits. Both vehicles were seized and handed over to local police for further legal action.

Officials emphasized the importance of cracking down on illegal mining activities. They assured that such enforcement efforts would continue to ensure compliance with laws.

The administration urged citizens to report illegal mining or transport activities to aid in effective action.
