34 Gurudwaras to be decorated as city gears up for November 15 religious procession

JAMSHEDPUR – The city is bustling with preparations for a grand Nagar Kirtan celebrating Guru Nanak Dev Ji’s Prakash Parv.
The procession will showcase elaborately decorated Palki Sahib with flowers from Kolkata.
Moreover, women volunteers will lead cleanliness initiatives along the route.
Meanwhile, the Central Gurudwara Parbandhak Committee oversees decorations at 34 Gurudwaras.
Furthermore, cultural performances will feature horsemen and Gatka parties.
However, this year’s celebration excludes fireworks displays.
In addition, the Central Singh Naujawan Sabha will manage traffic arrangements.
Besides, men will sprinkle water along the procession path.
On the other hand, local schools and community groups will actively participate.
Meanwhile, the route covers major landmarks including Sonari Bazaar and Keenan Stadium.
