JAMSHEDPUR – Former Congress President Rahul Gandhi will visit Jamshedpur on November 9 to campaign for Banna Gupta, Congress candidate for Jamshedpur West, in the upcoming Jharkhand Assembly elections.

Gandhi will address a large gathering at the prominent Gandhi Maidan in Mango, a densely populated area and key voting segment within Jamshedpur West.

In preparation for this major event, Jharkhand Congress in-charge Ghulam Ahmad Mir, along with a team of senior Congress leaders, arrived in Jamshedpur to review the arrangements.

Congress Leadership Overseeing Arrangements

On Thursday, Mir, joined by several Congress delegates, examined the rally venue and outlined the logistics for Rahul Gandhi’s visit.

Their visit involved detailed planning to ensure the event runs smoothly, with a focus on mobilizing local support for the party’s candidate.

Jharkhand Health Minister and Congress candidate Banna Gupta accompanied the team, expressing optimism about the rally’s impact in consolidating support.

Mobilizing Mango’s Electorate

Mango, known for its large voter base, is a crucial constituency area, and Congress leaders see Gandhi’s visit as instrumental in engaging local voters.

“Rahul Gandhi’s presence will boost our connection with the public and reinforce our commitment to addressing community needs,” said a local Congress delegate.

With a substantial voter turnout anticipated, the Congress party aims to strengthen Banna Gupta’s position in the race.

This rally is part of the Congress’s broader efforts to connect with the electorate in Jharkhand’s significant urban constituencies.
