Ajoy Kumar Slams Ex-CM Raghubar Das Over Jamshedpur Land Rights Issue

Congress Candidate Promises Commission to Address Land Ownership Crisis in Jharkhand

Key Points:

* Former CM accused of misleading public on land rights for 25 years

* Residents given limited lease rights instead of full ownership

* Congress candidate pledges commission to resolve statewide land issues

JAMSHEDPUR – Congress candidate Dr. Ajoy Kumar criticizes former Chief Minister Raghuvar Das’s handling of land ownership rights while proposing solutions.

The seasoned politician targeted the former leader’s 25-year tenure as local representative.

Moreover, he questioned Das’s commitment to resolving land ownership issues during his chief ministerial term.

However, residents received rights for only 10 decimal plots under lease arrangements.

Meanwhile, Dr. Kumar highlighted the displacement of numerous citizens under the previous administration.

"The previous government betrayed public trust by promoting company sublease arrangements instead of ownership rights," remarked a senior Congress party insider.

Furthermore, the issue extends beyond Jamshedpur to other parts of Jharkhand.

In addition, Dr. Kumar pledged to establish a dedicated commission for addressing these concerns.

On the other hand, he criticized Das’s apparent shift towards favoring corporate interests.

Besides, the previous administration’s decisions created significant obstacles for legitimate ownership claims.
