The announcement was made by Kashif Raza, the party’s state president and candidate from Jamshedpur West, during a press conference. The party is contending the elections to address the lack of development for marginalised groups, including tribal, backward, Dalit, and Muslim communities, over the past 24 years, he disclosed.
Candidates for the initial phase include Sanjay Raviraj for Hazaribagh, Madhusudan Kumar for Kanke, Ajay Singh Chero for Daltonganj, Siraj Khan for Vishrampur, Prabha Devi for Hussainabad, and Raza himself for Jamshedpur West.
Raza underscored that fundamental necessities, including healthcare and education, have not been adequately addressed, particularly in urban areas such as Jamshedpur, despite the 24 years of statehood. He also mentioned that five of the six declared candidates are from designated categories, despite the fact that they are competing for general category seats.
The party’s objective is to fulfil its commitments to the populace and promote genuine progress in the state.
