National Yoga Championship Kicks Off in Jamshedpur

JAMSHEDPUR – The Steel City hosts a prestigious yoga championship, bringing together talented athletes from across the nation and beyond.

The CISCE National Yoga Championship 2024 commenced on Thursday at Dayanand Public School.

This two-day event has attracted 365 participants from 12 different states across India.

Moreover, five international contestants are also showcasing their skills in this championship.

The competition is divided into three age categories: Under-14, Under-17, and Under-19.

Meanwhile, TRF Company’s Managing Director, Umesh Kumar Singh, graced the inaugural ceremony.

On the other hand, the organizers have meticulously planned for a smooth conduct of the event.

The championship provides a platform for young yogis to demonstrate their prowess and flexibility.

Furthermore, it aims to promote yoga as a competitive sport among school-going children.

However, the real excitement builds up as participants eagerly await the final day.

The event will conclude tomorrow with an award ceremony honoring the winners.

In addition, this championship puts Jamshedpur on the map as a hub for promoting yoga.
