JAMSHEDPUR – Local authorities conducted a thorough inspection of Baroda Ghat in preparation for the upcoming Durga Puja idol immersion.

Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal and SSP Kishore Kaushal led the inspection team.

Moreover, they were joined by other key officials and Puja Committee representatives.

The team provided crucial instructions to ensure a smooth immersion process.

On the other hand, repair of access roads to the ghat was emphasized as a priority.

Officials stressed the importance of adequate electricity supply at the immersion site.

Furthermore, they called for the installation of barricades to ensure devotees’ safety.

Meanwhile, maintaining cleanliness at the ghat emerged as another key focus area.

The Deputy Commissioner urged Puja Committees to adhere to immersion schedules.

However, she assured robust security measures would be in place during the event.

In addition, drone surveillance will be employed to monitor the immersion process.

Divers will also be deployed to ensure safety in and around the water.

Consequently, these measures aim to prevent any disruptions to public order.

"Cooperation between committees and administration is crucial," a reliable source stated.

Besides security, special attention was given to the electrification of the ghat area.

Timely cleaning of the ghats was highlighted as critical for devotees’ convenience.

The authorities advised devotees to exercise caution near slippery riverbank areas.

Puja Committees were requested to prioritize personal safety during the immersion.

This comprehensive approach seeks to balance tradition with public safety concerns.
