JAMSHEDPUR – The Securities and Exchange Board of India (SEBI) has inaugurated an Investor Service Centre in Bistupur to serve securities market investors in Jharkhand.

SEBI collaborated with NSE and BSE to establish the new facility.

The centre, managed by NSE, will cater to the needs of local investors.

Moreover, it aims to resolve complaints against listed corporate entities.

SEBI Executive Director Biranchi Narayan Sahoo inaugurated the centre on September 26, 2024.

The event was attended by key officials from SEBI and NSE.

Amit Kapoor, Chief General Manager and Regional Director (East) of SEBI, was present.

Additionally, Krishnan Iyer, Senior Vice President of NSE, participated in the inauguration.

The centre will address issues related to registered intermediaries in the securities market.

Furthermore, it will facilitate the conduct of investor awareness programs in Jharkhand.

This initiative aims to enhance investor protection in the region.

By establishing a local presence, SEBI seeks to improve accessibility for investors.
