PM Modi to Launch ₹83,300 Crore Projects in Jharkhand Today

One-day visit includes tribal welfare initiatives and infrastructure development

RANCHI – Prime Minister Narendra Modi is set to visit Jharkhand on October 2nd for a whirlwind tour focusing on tribal development and infrastructure projects.

The Prime Minister will arrive at Birsa Munda Airport in Ranchi at 1:10 PM.

He will then proceed to Hazaribagh via helicopter, landing at 1:55 PM.

Modi will participate in a government program at Vinoba Bhave University at 2 PM.

Furthermore, he will launch projects worth over ₹83,300 crore during his visit to Hazaribagh.

The centerpiece of the visit is the ₹79,150 crore Dharti Aaba Tribal Village Upliftment Campaign.

This initiative will benefit over 5 crore tribal people across 30 states and union territories.

Additionally, the PM will inaugurate 40 Eklavya Model Residential Schools (EMRS).

He will also lay the foundation for 25 new EMRS, costing over ₹2,800 crore.

Moreover, Modi will launch several projects under the PM Tribal Justice Mega Campaign (PM-JANMAN).

These include over 1,380 km of roads, 120 Anganwadis, and 250 multi-purpose centers.

The PM will unveil achievements like electrification of 75,800 PVTG homes in 3,000 villages.

He will highlight the operation of 275 mobile medical units and 500 Anganwadi centers.

The establishment of 250 Van Dhan Vikas Kendras will also be announced.

Stringent security measures have been implemented for the Prime Minister’s visit.

Over 3,000 security personnel will be deployed in Hazaribagh alone.

The security detail includes 7 SPs, 45 DSPs, 100 inspectors, and 400 sub-inspectors.

Two companies of the Rapid Action Force (RAF) have also been stationed.

The ADG Operations is continuously reviewing security arrangements.

SPG officials are monitoring the security protocols for the high-profile visit.
