JAMSHEDPUR – Two constables were awarded for rescuing a man who attempted suicide by jumping off Mango Bridge.

SSP Kishore Kaushal honored constables Wasim Khan and Virendra Nath Kumar with commendation certificates for saving the man.

Additionally, Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) Daniyal Sanga from Sidhgora police station, Neeraj Kumar Gupta from Sakchi police station, and another station in-charge were recognized for their prompt resolution of cases.

SSP Kaushal expressed that these officers’ exceptional efforts warranted the awards and stated that future similar accomplishments would be acknowledged.

The officers played key roles in the swift resolution of recent crimes in the area.

The incident at Mango Bridge was particularly notable, as the quick actions of Khan and Kumar prevented a potential tragedy.

SSP Kaushal emphasized that the force would continue to encourage exemplary work by recognizing and rewarding those involved.
