JAMSHEDPUR – East Singhbhum district authorities have unveiled comprehensive safety measures for the upcoming Durga Puja celebrations, prioritizing crowd management and security.

The district administration mandates separate entry and exit points for men and women at all pandals.

Moreover, each pandal must have an emergency exit gate for efficient crowd control.

CCTV cameras will be installed with real-time monitoring by designated personnel.

Furthermore, puja committees are required to submit volunteer lists to local police stations.

District Magistrate Ananya Mittal stressed the importance of following designated immersion routes.

Meanwhile, SSP Kishore Kaushal assured tight security throughout the festival period.

"Pandals should never exceed their maximum capacity," Kaushal emphasized during the meeting.

In addition, first-aid boxes and fire vehicle access are mandatory for each pandal.

The administration urges residents to be cautious about misinformation on social media.

However, concerns about power supply and road repairs were also addressed at the meeting.

On the other hand, officials assured that work is underway to resolve these issues.

The Central Peace Committee raised various concerns, which the administration promised to address.
