Special Trains Scheduled for Students During Examination Period

Extra Trains Announced to Aid Students’ Travel Needs

Special trains are set to operate to help students travel for their upcoming exams, providing convenient transportation options.

JAMSHEDPUR – To assist students during the examination period, special trains have been arranged for smoother travel.

Ranchi-Patna-Ranchi Examination Special (Train No. 08639/08640):

Train number 08639 will leave Ranchi on June 8, 2024, at 2:10 PM, arriving in Patna at 11:00 PM the same day.

For the return trip, Train number 08640 will depart Patna on June 9, 2024, at 9:10 PM and reach Ranchi at 5:30 AM the following day.

Stops include Muri, Kotshila, and Bokaro Steel City within the South Eastern Railway zone.

Tatanagar-Patna-Tatanagar Examination Special (Train No. 08109/08110):

Train number 08109 will start from Tatanagar on June 8, 2024, at 4:15 PM and will arrive in Patna at 3:00 AM the next morning.

For the return trip, Train number 08110 will leave Patna on June 9, 2024, at 9:15 PM and will reach Tatanagar at 7:15 AM the next day.

Stops include Chandil, Purulia, Bhojudih, and Mohuda within the South Eastern Railway jurisdiction.

These special trains are arranged to make traveling easier for students appearing for exams.

"These additional trains are scheduled to ensure students have a reliable means of transportation during their exams," said a railway representative.

This move highlights the commitment of the South Eastern Railway to support the student community.
