DUMKA – Former Chief Minister Arjun Munda criticized the Jharkhand government for allegedly defending tribal land encroachment near Masanjore Dam during the Parivartan Sabha in Dumka.

The BJP leader addressed the gathering at the outdoor stadium, marking the end of the Parivartan Yatra in Santal Pargana.

Moreover, Munda recalled his efforts to prevent an amendment to the CNT-SPT Act, which he claimed would have exploited tribal lands.

He highlighted the BJP’s commitment to tribal welfare, citing examples of tribal leaders in high positions.

Furthermore, the former CM condemned the state government for widespread corruption and rising unemployment.

Munda also expressed concern over increasing crimes against women in Jharkhand.

On the other hand, he called for change to address issues of infiltration and protect tribal rights.

The event saw participation from Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav and BJP State President Babulal Marandi.

However, Munda emphasized that only the BJP could ensure the development and protection of tribal communities.

In addition, he pointed to the elevation of a tribal woman to the presidency as evidence of the party’s commitment.

Meanwhile, the former CM urged action to secure the state’s future and address pressing issues affecting its residents.
