Extensive Road Closures and Diversions Planned for Modi’s September 15 Appearance

JAMSHEDPUR – The Steel City braces for widespread traffic disruptions as it prepares to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi on September 15.

Jamshedpur is gearing up for a significant visit from Prime Minister Narendra Modi, scheduled for September 15.

The city’s traffic management plan is undergoing a major overhaul to accommodate the high-profile visit.

Numerous key areas will experience road closures and diversions, affecting daily commutes.

The Prime Minister’s itinerary includes a road show in Bistupur and participation in two events.

His presence in the city until 1 PM necessitates stringent security measures and traffic control.

Major routes from Sonari Airport to Bistupur and Jugsalai to Tatanagar Railway Station will be heavily regulated.

"We’re implementing comprehensive security protocols to ensure a smooth visit for the Prime Minister while minimizing inconvenience to residents," stated a local official, speaking on condition of anonymity.

The traffic restrictions will impact various parts of the city, including popular areas like Bistupur, Kadma, and Jugsalai.
