JAMSHEDPUR – Project High School in Patamda hosted a seminar on air pollution awareness, emphasizing its impact on health and agriculture.

The event, titled "Pure Sky, Bright Future," coincided with the International Day of Clean Air for Blue Skies.

Organizers focused on the theme "Invest in #CleanAirNow" to highlight pollution’s far-reaching consequences.

The World Health Organization’s report on pollution-related deaths was a key talking point.

Air pollution’s role in climate change and its effects on agriculture were discussed.

Principal Priyanka Ma’am shared observations on changing weather patterns affecting school gardening.

"Unpredictable weather is making it difficult for students to grow plants in our school garden," she noted.

The school’s Eco Club has been encouraged to focus on pollution-reducing actions.

Soni Kumari, a cleanliness expert from Towaso Private Limited, led an interactive session.

She emphasized the benefits of composting in reducing methane emissions.

Kumari warned about the dangers of improper waste disposal and burning mixed waste.

"These practices lead to respiratory diseases and worsen air quality," Kumari explained.

Students shared their experiences in promoting environmental awareness at home.

Eco Club members revealed their efforts in educating families about waste management.

The seminar emphasized individual responsibility in combating air pollution and climate change.
