Employees to receive Rs 5,800 monthly gross salary hike and enhanced benefits
Linde India and Indian Oxygen Workers Union reach a new 3.5-year salary agreement, boosting employee compensation and benefits.
JAMSHEDPUR – Linde India and the Indian Oxygen Workers Union have signed a new salary agreement, significantly increasing employee compensation and benefits over a 3.5-year period.
The agreement, signed in the presence of Jamshedpur DLC Rajesh Prasad, will see employees receive a Rs 5,800 increase in their monthly gross salary.
Two hikes in basic pay are included in the new terms.
The leave travel allowance has been increased from Rs 21,000 to Rs 27,000.
Families of employees who die during service will receive compensation equivalent to 48 months of gratuity pay.
Retirement benefits have been raised from Rs 4,000 to Rs 5,000 per year of full service.
The company will enhance mediclaim coverage to Rs 3,00,000 for employees, their spouses, and two children.
Surviving mothers of employees will receive unlimited medical coverage under the new agreement.
A domestic mediclaim coverage of Rs 15,000 has been introduced as part of the benefits package.
The agreement also provides Rs 45,000 annually for mediclaim policies for retired employees.
Union President Rakeshwar Pandey emphasized the importance of investing in the workforce for the organization’s continued success.
Key figures from both Linde India and the union, including VP Guru PD Manna and General Secretary Vishwa Mitra Dubey, signed the agreement.
