Contaminated Water Supply in Tatanagar Railway Colonies Sparks Health Concerns

For the past 20 days, Tatanagar railway colonies have been receiving contaminated water, leading to health issues among residents.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tatanagar railway colonies have been suffering from contaminated water supply for the past 20 days, raising serious health concerns among residents.

The water being supplied is unfit for drinking and has caused skin issues such as itching and other dermatological problems.

Nixon Kumar, Branch Secretary of the Independent Railway Bahujan Employees Union, has lodged a formal complaint with the Assistant Divisional Engineer of Tatanagar.

The complaint highlights that the water supply in the railway colonies is unfiltered and has a foul smell.

The union demands immediate action to resolve the issue.

The supplied water is posing a health hazard to railway employees and their families.

The union has warned that if the issue is not addressed promptly, railway employees will be forced to stage a protest with their families.
