Bengali Community Pays Tribute to Khudiram Bose in Jamshedpur

Led by Aparna Guha, members of 40 Bengali organizations in Jamshedpur honored martyr Khudiram Bose with a march and wreath-laying ceremony.

In a heartfelt tribute, around 40 Bengali organizations in Jamshedpur, led by the central president of ‘Bang Bandhu,’ Aparna Guha, paid homage to martyr Khudiram Bose with a procession and wreath-laying ceremony at his statue in Mango.

JAMSHEDPUR – Members of various Bengali organizations in Jamshedpur gathered today to pay tribute to martyr Khudiram Bose under the leadership of ‘Bang Bandhu’ central president Aparna Guha.

The participants first assembled at the Bhuiyandih Durga Puja Ground, carrying the national flag and chanting slogans of "Amar Shaheed Amar Rahe."

They then marched to the Khudiram Bose statue at Mango Golchakkar, where they laid wreaths and paid their respects.

During the event, the participants pledged to promote the Bengali language and follow the ideals of Khudiram Bose.

The statue site was adorned with patriotic songs playing since the morning, and refreshments were provided for attendees.

Women participants were dressed in traditional white sarees with red borders, while men wore white shirts and kurtas.

The event was attended by prominent members of the community, including Tarun Dey, Uttam Guha, Vinod Dey, Sanjeev Acharya, Kajal Mukherjee, Nirmal Chandra, and many others from organizations such as Sabuj Kalyan Sangh, Suvarna Banik Samaj, Gorai Samaj, Manavta, Durgabari, and more.

The tribute was a solemn yet vibrant display of unity and respect, with a strong turnout from the Bengali community.
