Over 500 students from 22 schools participate in space-themed competitions
Loyola School’s Junior Section organized the highly anticipated ‘Kaleidoscope 2K24’ inter-school event on Saturday.
JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School’s Junior Section hosted ‘Kaleidoscope 2K24’, an inter-school gala event featuring space-themed competitions for students from grades 1 to 5.
The event, themed ‘To Infinity and beyond…’, saw participation from over 500 students across 22 schools.
Father Kuruvilla inaugurated the fest at the Fasy Auditorium, following a welcome address by teacher Neetu Sardana.
Eight diverse competitions were held, including a fancy dress contest, cosmic trivia quiz, and space-themed storytelling.
‘Moonwalk’ dance show and ‘Sunny Side Up’ singing competition added to the excitement for 2nd and 3rd-grade students.
Students showcased their creativity in ‘Shipshape’, designing spaceships using MS Paint.
‘The Celestial Walk’, a space-themed fashion show, featured 5th-grade students dressed as celestial bodies.
Gulmohar English School emerged as the overall champion, with Carmel Junior College as the first runner-up.
School Principal Fr Vinod Fernandes congratulated all participants for the event’s success.
The closing ceremony included a felicitation of Chief Guest Father David Vincent and student performances.
