Jamshedpur beauty to represent state in Miss Universe India competition

Shatakshi Kiran from Jamshedpur wins the inaugural Miss Universe Jharkhand title at Patratu Lake Resort.

JAMSHEDPUR – Shatakshi Kiran of Jamshedpur has been crowned Miss Universe Jharkhand at the finale held at Paryatan Vihar, Patratu Lake Resort.

The two-day event marked the first state-level Miss Universe Jharkhand competition organized in Patratu.

Ranchi’s Riya Tirkey secured the second place in the contest, which saw participation from 17 contestants.

A distinguished panel of judges presided over the competition, including Neha Mahato, National Director of Miss Universe.

Other judges included Nikhil Anand, Miss Global International 2022 Tanya Sinha, Shreyansh Jain, and Angel Malina Tirkey.

Shatakshi Kiran will now represent Jharkhand in the upcoming Miss Universe India competition in Delhi.

The newly crowned Miss Universe Jharkhand expressed her happiness and determination to win the Miss Universe title.

Shatakshi attributed her success to her mother’s support and sees this title as a significant step towards her ultimate goal.

The event showcased the beauty and talent of Jharkhand’s young women on a prestigious platform.

Organizing the competition at Patratu Lake Resort highlighted Jharkhand’s scenic locations to a wider audience.

The success of this inaugural state-level competition may pave the way for future beauty pageants in Jharkhand.
