JAMSHEDPUR – Transgenders in Jamshedpur are seeking justice after Bagbera police officers allegedly brutally assaulted two members of their community.

The incident occurred on the night of August 1 at Tatanagar Railway Station following a dispute between the Bagbera patrolling police and the transgenders.

The situation escalated to the police station, where the next day, the SHO summoned the transgenders for a discussion.

According to the transgenders, during the meeting, the community demanded action against the guilty officers.

However, as alleged by the transgenders, in the presence of the SHO, police officers and personnel brutally beat two transgenders inside the station.
