Reliance BP Mobility Ltd Unveils Ambitious Plans for East Singhbhum

Joint Venture to Expand Fuel Retail Infrastructure in Jharkhand

RBML aims to establish 110 petrol outlets in Jharkhand, with potential for strategic partnerships in East Singhbhum.

JAMSHEDPUR – Reliance BP Mobility Ltd (RBML) convened a meeting with East Singhbhum Deputy Commissioner Ananya Mittal to deliberate on the district and state’s petroleum retail infrastructure expansion plans.

The meeting was centered on the development strategy that RBML has proposed for Jharkhand, with a particular emphasis on East Singhbhum.

RBML, a modern petroleum retail network, is a joint venture between British Petroleum (BP) and Reliance Industries Limited (RIL).

The objective of this initiative is to meet the increasing energy and mobility requirements of the emerging India.

The company’s expansion plans are consistent with Reliance Industries’ overarching strategy to enhance its retail outlet presence throughout the country.

RBML’s vision encompasses the introduction of next-generation alternate fuels and advanced mobility solutions.

These advancements include Electric Vehicle Charging Points, Compressed Natural Gas (CNG), and Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG).

There are approximately 1,500 retail outlets in India that are currently operated by RBML.

Within the next three to five years, the organization intends to establish 110 fuel outlets in Jharkhand.

Fifty outlets have been operationalized in the state thus far.

The remaining 60 outlets are in various phases of submission and approval.

RBML is currently in the process of identifying opportunities for strategic partnerships with government bodies and other agencies.

To establish retail outlets on available land parcels in East Singhbhum, these partnerships are intended.

The RBML squad was guaranteed 100% support from the district administration by Deputy Commissioner Mittal.

The administration acknowledges the substantial employment opportunities that these developments would create.

"We are enthusiastic about the potential for growth in East Singhbhum," stated Rajiv Joshi, RBML’s Jharkhand State Head, in response to the meeting. Our vision for a modern, sustainable petroleum retail network will be realized through our collaboration with the local administration.

The meeting was witnessed by prominent RBML officials, including Lokesh Parmar, Santosh Singh, Anirban Dubey, and Jessu Matthew.

The meeting was organized by Rajnish Kumar, the State Coordinating Officer for Jharkhand and Bihar at Reliance Industries Limited.
