Tata Main Hospital to Join Ayushman Bharat Health Account Scheme from August 1

Tata Main Hospital (TMH) will be integrated with the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) scheme starting August 1.

JAMSHEDPUR – Tata Main Hospital (TMH), operated by Tata Steel, will join the Ayushman Bharat Health Account (ABHA) scheme from August 1, as announced by TMH.

Under the Ayushman Bharat Digital Mission, the Indian government has launched this initiative to digitally maintain patient records and improve healthcare services.

Patients will receive a 14-digit health ID to create personal health records accessible nationwide.

This system will be available to all citizens visiting TMH, whether booking through the TMH Vishwas Portal or the internet.

The ABHA card provides a digital platform for creating health accounts for all citizens, with each family member having a unique ABHA card.

Registered health services can be easily accessed.

Patients can receive digital copies of health records, lab reports, and doctor’s prescriptions.

Teleconsultations with healthcare professionals will be possible, saving time and reducing the need to wait in queues.
