A body was discovered in a suspicious condition in a drain beside the main road in Namda Basti under Golmuri police station in Jamshedpur, causing a stir in the area.

JAMSHEDPUR – A body found in a drain beside the main road in Namda Basti under Golmuri police station created a sensation in the area.

Due to the incident occurring on the border of two police station jurisdictions, both Telco and Golmuri police hesitated to remove the body for hours.

The body was found in the bushes near the drain, with a bicycle in the drain and a helmet at some distance.

The helmet had the name "S. Akhauri" written on it, suggesting the deceased might be an employee of a company.

The condition of the body indicated it had been there for approximately 4 to 5 days.

News of the body spread like wildfire, and a large number of local residents tried to identify the deceased.

Police arrived at the scene but left shortly, citing jurisdictional issues.

Residents speculated foul play due to the body, bicycle, and helmet being found in different locations.

As a result, the body remained at the scene for hours due to the jurisdictional dispute.
