JAMSHEDPUR – A district-wide campaign to ensure accurate voter lists is set to launch, with citizens encouraged to participate actively.

The #NaamJancho campaign will run across East Singhbhum district on Thursday, July 25, from 12 noon to 1 pm.

District Election Officer Ananya Mittal briefed the media about the initiative during a press conference at the Collectorate Auditorium.

"We urge every voter to verify their name in the draft voter list at their polling station or through digital platforms," Mittal stated.

Voters can use the Voter Helpline App or official websites https://voters.eci.gov.in/login and https://ceo.jharkhand.gov.in to check their registration status.

Participants are encouraged to document their verification process with photos or selfies, using the hashtag #NaamJancho on social media.

The campaign coincides with the publication of the draft voter list for the second special summary revision program 2024.

Booth Level Officers will be stationed at all polling locations to assist with verifications and receive correction applications.

"Forms 6, 7, and 8 will be available for free at polling stations for necessary corrections or new registrations," a district official explained.

Voters can submit applications online or at designated offices, with special camps planned on specific dates.

Applications can be submitted at BLO/AERO/ERO offices or online at https://voters.eci.gov.in/login.

The District Election Officer has called on political parties to support the administration in promoting the #NaamJancho campaign.
