Rudrabhishek and Mahaprasad Ceremony Held at MLA Saryu Roy’s Office

Hundreds Attend the Holy Ceremony in Jamshedpur

Rudrabhishek ceremony organized at Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy’s office.

JAMSHEDPUR – On the first Monday of Shravan month, a Rudrabhishek ceremony was organized at the office of Jamshedpur East MLA Saryu Roy in Baridih.

Following the Rudrabhishek, thousands of people partook in the Mahaprasad at the nearby Ramarcha ground, continuing late into the night.

Ceremonial Details

Pandit Vinod Pandey, who conducted the Ramarcha Puja and Rudrabhishek, explained that the ceremony began with the worship of Gauri-Ganesh, Varun, Navgrah, and Matrika.

This was followed by the creation and consecration of a Parthiv Shivling.

The deity was then bathed with a mixture of milk, yogurt, honey, ghee, sugarcane juice, hemp juice, and holy ash.

After offering bhog to Lord Shiva, the Rudrabhishek commenced, lasting for approximately four hours, with continuous recitation of Rudrashtadhyayi.

The ceremony concluded with the distribution of prasad.

Special Guests and Mahaprasad

The Mahaprasad from the Ramarcha Puja included delicacies prepared by skilled artisans from Buxar, featuring dishes like Haathi Kaanpuri, Aloo Parwal curry, Aloo Baingan curry, sweet and sour tomato chutney, and Bundiya.
