Prime Suspect in Adityapur Murder Case Surrenders
Vicky Nandi Ends Months-Long Evasion, Turns Himself In to Jamshedpur Court
The surrender of Vicky Nandi, the main accused in the Bholu Lohar murder, marks a significant breakthrough in the case, potentially shedding light on land-related violence in Adityapur.
JAMSHEDPUR – Vicky Nandi, the primary suspect in the Bholu Lohar murder case, has surrendered to the Jamshedpur court, ending his extended period of evading law enforcement.
Nandi, accompanied by his legal representative Gaurav Pathak, turned himself in after months on the run.
The suspect, known for his involvement in land dealings, had been actively sought by police since the murder on May 23.
Bholu Lohar, a resident of Adityapur Rammadia Basti in the Kadma police station area, was killed shortly after his release on bail on May 5.
Following the murder, authorities arrested two suspects, Rahul Pandit and Prashant Kapri, in Kadma Shastri Nagar, confiscating a country-made pistol and ammunition.
The investigation also implicated Kartik Munda, who recently died in an accident while evading capture in Sonari.
As legal proceedings advance, authorities are focused on building a robust case against the accused.
This case has highlighted concerns about land-related disputes and violence in the Adityapur area.
Local residents express hope that Nandi’s surrender will lead to swift justice and bring closure to the victim’s family.
