Authorities recover vehicle used in the incident, investigate possible links to liquor shop theft

Jamshedpur police make progress in solving high-profile robbery, detaining four suspects and recovering the alleged getaway vehicle, as investigation expands to explore potential connections with recent liquor store theft in Kadma area.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Telco Police have made progress in the investigation of a robbery at the residence of a Deputy General Manager (DGM) of a wire manufacturing company.

Four suspects have been taken into custody in connection with the case.

Police are currently interrogating the detained individuals to gather more information about the incident.

The vehicle allegedly used in the crime has been recovered from the suspects.

Investigators are exploring possible links between this case and a recent liquor shop robbery in Kadma.

A formal announcement regarding the case is expected from the police on Wednesday.

The robbery took place at the company quarters on Nildih Main Road in the Telco police station area.

The incident occurred when the DGM’s wife and son were returning home from a walk on Monday night.

Four criminals reportedly entered the house and stole ₹10,000 in cash and a gold chain.

When the family resisted, one of the assailants fired a shot in the air before fleeing the scene.
