Tata Steel Foundation Initiates Scholarship for SC/ST Students

Program targets meritorious students from Jharkhand and Odisha districts

Tata Steel’s social arm, Tata Steel Foundation (TSF), has introduced a scholarship program to support outstanding students belonging to Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes.

JAMSHEDPUR – The Tata Steel Foundation (TSF) has announced a new scholarship initiative aimed at helping meritorious students from Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) in various districts of Jharkhand and Odisha.

Eligibility and Application Details

The scholarship program is open to students residing in West Singhbhum, East Singhbhum, Saraikela Kharsawan, Ramgarh, Dhanbad, and Khunti districts of Jharkhand, as well as Keonjhar, Mayurbhanj, Bamnipal, Jajpur, Ganjam, Angul, and Sundargarh districts of Odisha.

To qualify for the scholarship, applicants must have a parental annual income below Rs 7.50 lakh.

Beneficiaries of this scholarship will not be eligible to receive any other scholarships from government, central government, corporations, NGOs, or any other entities, either currently or previously.

Deadline and Submission

The deadline for submitting applications is July 10.

Applicants must be enrolled in a regular full-time educational institution to be considered.

Applications can be submitted in hard copy or obtained at the Tata Steel Foundation office in Bistupur, Jamshedpur.
