Jharkhand Schools Closed Till June 15 Due to Severe Heat Wave

Government Shuts Down Classes from KG to 12th Until June 15

In response to the escalating heat wave, the Jharkhand government has ordered the closure of all schools, both private and government, from June 12 to June 15.

RANCHI – The severe heat wave in Jharkhand has prompted the government to take drastic measures to ensure the safety of students.

The state government has announced the closure of all schools from kindergarten to 12th grade from June 12 to June 15.

Initially, the school timings were adjusted from June 9 to June 15, with classes scheduled from 7 am to 11:30 am.

However, with the intensification of the heatwave, the government has withdrawn this order and decided to close the schools entirely during this period.

The government has stated that after June 15, schools will revert to their previous timings.

The decision aims to protect children from the severe heat conditions currently affecting the state.

Parents and students are advised to stay updated with further announcements from the government regarding school operations after June 15.
