JAMSHEDPUR – A distressing family conflict in the Mango police station area resulted in Sandeep Yadav, a resident of Kunwar Basti, being stabbed by his uncle, Baleshwar Yadav, late on Monday night.
Following the altercation, Sandeep was urgently transported to MGM Hospital with a knife wound to his right shoulder.
Sandeep’s wife, Jyoti, also sustained internal injuries during the incident. Police swiftly responded to the scene, detaining Baleshwar Yadav shortly after the attack.
Jyoti Devi has since lodged a formal complaint at the Mango police station against Baleshwar Yadav.
According to Anil Yadav, Sandeep’s brother-in-law, the conflict escalated when Baleshwar began molesting his sister. Sandeep intervened to protect her, prompting Baleshwar to attack him with a knife.
Anil further alleged that Baleshwar Yadav is allegedly involved in the illegal liquor trade from his home.
