Jairam Mahato to contest Giridih Lok Sabha seat for Jharkhandi Bhasha Khatian Sangharsh Samiti

Jairam Mahato, central president of JBKSS, is set to contest from Giridih in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, challenging candidates from NDA and INDIA bloc.

RANCHI – The Jharkhandi Bhasha Khatian Sangharsh Samiti (JBKSS) has officially nominated its central president, Jairam Mahato, as the candidate for the Giridih Lok Sabha seat.

This announcement was made through a formal letter from the committee, marking a significant step in JBKSS’s political journey.

JBKSS, which is registered with the Election Commission under the banner of Jharkhand Loktantri Kartikari Morcha, plans to contest a total of six seats in the general election.

Jairam Mahato’s candidacy introduces a third dimension to the Giridih contest, alongside Chandraprakash Choudhary of NDA and Mathura Mahato of the JMM representing the INDIA bloc.

Mahato, popularly known as the ‘Young Tiger’, is renowned for his engaging speeches delivered from the bonnet of his car, focusing on local issues, employment for the youth, and the preservation of regional language and rights.

His unique approach has garnered widespread attention, drawing large crowds across Jharkhand’s villages and towns eager to hear his vision for the region.
