Rajendra Goswami’s family receives relief as Health Minister Banna Gupta intervenes to waive outstanding hospital charges

In a heartwarming display of compassion, the TMH management waived off the outstanding bill of Rs 189,834 for the family of late Rajendra Goswami, a resident of Jehanabad who lost his life following a vehicle collision near Meerudih.

JAMSHEDPUR – Ultimately, on the request of Minister Banna Gupta, the total outstanding bill of Rs 189834 was waived off by the TMH management. Expressing gratitude to Minister Banna Gupta, the residents of the colony said that Honorable Minister Banna Gupta has set an example of his big heart towards the poor.

The residents of the colony have also expressed their gratitude towards Purendra Narayan Singh for requesting and making efforts to the Honorable Minister Banna Gupta to waive the bill. Purendra Narayan Singh took immediate action and informed Health Minister Shri Banna Gupta about the entire matter and requested him to waive the outstanding bill of TMH.

At the same time, the brother-in-law of late Rajendra Goswami contacted some social workers of Mirudih colony. After that, on March 11, social worker Prabhas Kumar Jha of Basti contacted Purendra Narayan Singh, former vice president of Adityapur Municipal Council, through telephone and requested to waive off the outstanding bills of the poor bereaved family.

The family of late Rajendra Goswami was unable to settle the outstanding amount of around Rs 189834 because how would such a poor man be able to get so much money. Yesterday his bill in TMH was Rs 260834, of which Rs 70500 was deposited by his family members as advance.

All the companions together admitted Rajendra Goswami from the spot to TMH at around 12:00 in the night, where he died during treatment at around 7:00 in the evening on March 11. Late Rajendra Goswami got injured in this collision.
