The Vishwa Shanti Palace’s Maha Shivratri procession through Sonari highlighted the spiritual significance of the festival with educational tableau presentations.
JAMSHEDPUR – The series of Maha Shivratri celebrations will culminate with a Shiva flag hoisting at the Brahma Kumari Seva Kendra in Bistupur.
Additionally, a Kalash Yatra is slated for March 9 at the same location.
An enlightening Shiv Mahima event is scheduled at 4:00 pm on Maha Shivratri at the Seva Kendra on Marine Drive.
Participants learned about the difference between Shiva and Shankar during the procession.
The teachings clarified that Shiva is the formless Supreme God, the father of all souls.
In contrast, Shankar represents the physical embodiment of God’s power, symbolizing the destruction of evil.
A grand procession, featuring a towering statue of Lord Shankar, took place along Marine Drive.
It marked the occasion of Maha Shivratri with vivid tableau presentations and traversed the Sonari area for two days.
