Junior Section Embarks on Dalma Trek, Fostering Sportsmanship and Well-being
Loyola School’s Junior Section hosted the "Fun n Fitness Camp 2k24," a three-day event promoting physical fitness and love for nature among students.
JAMSHEDPUR – Loyola School recently concluded its "Fun n Fitness Camp 2k24," a dynamic three-day event at the school campus, designed to bolster resilience, sportsmanship, and a connection with nature among its students.
The camp featured a mix of Zumba, Karate, and Yoga sessions, infused with the spirit of the Camp Anthem, sung enthusiastically by students.
Art and Craft activities encouraged creative expression, utilizing natural materials to create beautiful artwork.
The highlight was a challenging trek up the Dalma hills, led by experienced trekkers Nirmal Pandey and Dale Passagne, where students demonstrated exceptional physical and mental strength.

The adventure culminated with a memorable trek, engaging students in a test of willpower and endurance.
Father Principal Vinod Fernandes, Father Rector K M Joseph, and Vice Principal Vineeta Ekka cheered on the participants, nurturing team spirit and determination.
The trek, a blend of challenge and triumph, left a lasting impression of achievement among the students.
Senior Section Adventure
Parallelly, the Senior Section Adventure Club, led by Dale Passagne, embarked on their own Dalma hill trek with 408 students, teaching them the importance of nature in achieving mental well-being.
This initiative highlighted the benefits of physical activity on intellectual and emotional health, as emphasized by Father Principal Vinod Fernandes.
