Urdu Teacher Vacancies to be Filled, New Committees Formed in Jharkhand

RANCHI – The Jharkhand Assembly witnessed positive developments for Urdu education, as announced by Minister Mithilesh Kumar Thakur.
In response to MLA Pradeep Yadav’s concerns, the government committed to substantial reinforcements in Urdu teaching staff.
The initiative includes filling about 8000 Urdu teacher positions, doubling the current number of sanctioned posts.
This move aims to address the long-standing deficiency in Urdu educational staff since the era of United Bihar.
Additionally, the formation of several committees, including the Urdu Academy, is on the government’s agenda.
These committees are expected to be established before the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
Efforts to enhance the recognition of the Aalim Fazil degree across states were also mentioned.
MLA Pradeep Yadav expressed contentment with the government’s assurances, highlighting their potential to benefit 15% of the state’s population.
The government’s reassurances came during a dialogue on the necessity of a Urdu University and other related issues.
This proactive stance by the state government signifies a major stride towards educational inclusivity for Urdu speakers in Jharkhand.
