Jharkhand Assembly Rocked by JSSC CGL Exam Leak Protest
BJP Demands CBI Probe into JSSC CGL Paper Leak, Assembly Proceedings Disrupted
In a significant turn of events, the Jharkhand Assembly witnessed major disruptions over the alleged paper leak of the JSSC CGL 2023 Exam, led by BJP MLAs demanding a thorough investigation by the CBI into the matter.
RANCHI – The Jharkhand Assembly faced severe disruptions on Monday, as BJP legislators vehemently protested against the leak of the JSSC CGL exam papers, demanding a CBI inquiry to ensure a comprehensive investigation. The opposition’s persistent outcry led to the adjournment of the House proceedings until 12:30, highlighting the contentious nature of the issue. Minister Alamgir Alam assured that the government would decide on further actions based on the SIT’s report, emphasizing the seriousness with which the administration is addressing the allegations. Meanwhile, Leader of the Opposition Amar Bauri and BJP leader Viranchi Narayan insisted on a CBI investigation, arguing that the SIT formed by the government would not suffice to uncover the extent of the malpractice, pointing to potential government complicity.
Government’s Response
Minister Alamgir Alam countered opposition demands, stating the government’s commitment to justice with the ongoing SIT investigation into the JSSC CGL paper leak. He assured that the government’s next steps would be determined by the findings of the SIT, reinforcing the administration’s stance on addressing the issue comprehensively.
CBI Investigation Demand
The opposition, led by Amar Bauri and Viranchi Narayan, rallied for a CBI probe, citing the inadequacy of the SIT to address the systemic issues and alleged government involvement in the examination scandal. Their demands reflect growing concerns over the fairness and transparency of public recruitment processes in the state.
