Local MLA Seeks Immediate Action on Infrastructure Development in Jamshedpur

Potka MLA Sanjeev Sardar’s meeting with Jharkhand’s Road Construction Minister Basant Soren highlights urgent infrastructure demands, aiming for swift action.

JAMSHEDPUR – Addressing the pressing infrastructure needs of Potka, MLA Sanjeev Sardar, in a recent meeting with Jharkhand’s Road Construction Minister Basant Soren, emphasized the critical requirement for swift administrative approvals to kickstart various development projects.

Sardar highlighted the necessity for immediate action on the administrative approval for the construction of a 15 km stretch from Seraldih in Dumaria block to the Odisha border, a project awaiting nod from the departmental secretary.

This call for urgency extends to the initiation of projects for the Hata-Jamshedpur road and the Musabani-Asta-Koima 47 km road, both of which have also been forwarded for administrative approval but remain pending.

The meeting underlined the need for the speedy completion of the Detailed Project Report (DPR) for the construction of the Shitala Chowk Parsudih Ring Road, emphasizing its significance for the region’s connectivity and development.

Sardar’s demands included the construction of a bridge over Baroda Ghat on the road from Bagbera under Jamshedpur block of Potka Assembly and the establishment of a thoroughfare from Turamdih (Sundernagar) of Jamshedpur to Trimurti Chowk via Burudih, Turamdih Gate, Aharghutu, Kalia Dih Gaushala, and Muigutu, reflecting the area’s long-standing infrastructural needs.

Minister Basant Soren reassured that the government would address these demands promptly, aiming to enhance the region’s infrastructure and quality of life for its residents.
