Jamshedpur CBSE schools to join the pilot project "Safal" for innovative student assessment in grades 3, 5, and 8.
"Safal" initiative aims to revolutionize teaching-learning processes in Jamshedpur’s CBSE schools.
JAMSHEDPUR – CBSE schools in Jamshedpur are gearing up to introduce "Safal" (Structured Assessment for Analyzing Learning Levels), a pioneering pilot project designed to assess the intellectual development of students in the 3rd, 5th, and 8th grades. This initiative reflects a commitment to evolving educational standards in line with the new education policy.
Schools are required to register on the Safal portal by February 20th to participate in this examination, which seeks to provide a comprehensive assessment of students’ understanding and overall growth beyond traditional syllabus boundaries.
Meena Wilkhu, Principal of Chinmaya Vidyalaya, emphasized that the Safal exam is structured to evaluate the effectiveness of the teaching-learning process, aiming to identify and address any gaps in current educational practices.
By focusing on understanding rather than rote memorization, Safal represents a step towards enhancing teaching methodologies and educational activities, promoting a more intellectually stimulating learning environment for students.
