Warmth spreads in Bagbera with blanket distribution

Free blankets bring relief to Bagbera’s needy

In a heartening move, free blankets were handed out to the needy in Bagbera Colony Panchayat, offering warmth and comfort during the cold weather.

JAMSHEDPUR – The distribution event saw the participation of key local figures, including Panchayat Committee member Sunil Gupta, Deputy Chief Santosh Thakur, Ward member Seema Pandey, and social workers Shri Ram Singh and Arvind Pandey.

Together, they handed out blankets directly to individuals, ensuring those most in need received aid.

The recipients expressed their gratitude towards the Panchayat representatives, with their faces lighting up upon receiving the blankets.

This gesture was particularly impactful as it addressed the gap in aid previously noted, with many in the Bagbera Colony Panchayat missing out on such essential support.

Sunil Gupta, a member of the Panchayat committee, highlighted the issue, noting that despite previous efforts, a number of needy people had not received blankets.

To remedy this, an updated list of those in need was compiled, leading to this targeted distribution event.

This initiative not only provided immediate relief but also underscored the community’s commitment to supporting its most vulnerable members during the winter season.
