JMM Celebrates 52nd Foundation Day in Dhanbad

CM Champai Soren Criticizes Central Government at JMM Event

At JMM’s 52nd foundation day, CM Champai Soren honors Hemant Soren’s legacy and criticizes the central government’s policies.

DHANBAD – The 52nd foundation day of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) was celebrated with fervor at the golf ground in the district, marking Chief Minister Champai Soren’s first visit to Dhanbad since taking office. The event was notable for the absence of party supremo Shibu Soren.

CM Soren was warmly received by party leaders upon his arrival in Dhanbad, reflecting the high regard in which he is held within the party.

During his speech, CM Soren lauded the developmental efforts of Hemant Soren’s tenure as Chief Minister and vehemently criticized the BJP-led central government.

He emphasized the need for party members to embody the spirit and ideals of Hemant Soren and Shibu Soren, advocating for adherence to their policies and visions for the state’s progress.

CM Soren’s call to action included a commitment to completing the development plans initiated by Hemant Soren, highlighting the importance of the Khatian of 1932 in determining residency and rights in Jharkhand.

The Chief Minister also praised the ‘Sarkar Aapke Dwar’ initiative, aimed at addressing village needs and critiqued the central government for not extending PM Awas Yojana benefits to the state’s populace.

He announced the provision of ‘Abua’ housing, offering three-room accommodations as an enhancement over the expected two-room setups, underscoring Jharkhand’s contribution to the nation’s energy through its coal resources despite the state’s wealth in minerals.

Soren also highlighted the state government’s efforts to provide employment to locals through policy initiatives, lamenting the BJP’s legal challenges against these measures, including the implementation of the Khatian of 1932 and accusing the BJP of politically motivated actions against Hemant Soren.
