Tata Main Hospital Hosts 43rd AISMOC Pre-Conference Workshop

Innovative Medical Workshops Enlighten 250 Doctors

Tata Main Hospital’s pre-conference workshop provides hands-on training in advanced medical techniques to healthcare professionals.

JAMSHEDPUR – The 43rd AISMOC (All India Steel Medical Officers’ Conference) 2024 pre-conference workshop, a significant event in the medical community, was successfully held at Tata Main Hospital, Jamshedpur, on Thursday.

The workshop was inaugurated by Air Vice-Marshal (retd) Dr. Sudhir Rai, General Manager- Medical Services at Tata Main Hospital.

The event witnessed the presence of esteemed medical professionals including Dr. Vinita Singh, Chief of Medical Indoor Services, Dr. Mamta Rath Datta, Chief of Medical Support Services, Dr. Minakshi Mishra, Organizing Chairperson of AISMOC 24, and Dr. Asif Ahmed, Chairperson of the AISMOC Workshop Committee, among others.

This educational workshop covered five critical topics: Respiratory Support & Airway Management, Imaging at the Bedside, Ultrasonography, FAST, POCUS and ECHO, ABG Interpretation at the Bedside, and Laparoscopic Surgery and Suturing & Robotic Surgery.

Approximately 250 doctors from Tata Main Hospital and other Steel Hospitals across the country participated in this enriching program.

The faculty comprised renowned experts from Tata Main Hospital and national faculties, including Dr. Rakesh Rajput from CMRI, Kolkata, Dr. Anantharaman Sivaraman from Chennai Urology and Robotics Institute, Dr. Prasanth Penumadu from Sri Venkateswara Institute of Cancer Care and Advanced Research, Tirupati, and Dr. Srikant Behera from AIIMS Bhubaneswar.

The primary objective of the workshop was to enhance bedside and advanced care skills through real-time training.

The program was a resounding success, significantly contributing to the knowledge and skills enhancement of the attending clinicians.

Such workshops are vital in promoting continuous learning and skill development in the medical field, ensuring that healthcare professionals stay abreast of the latest advancements and techniques.
