JEM Foundation’s Kasidih High School Hosts Grand Sports Event

The Annual Sports Day at Kashidih High School, a unit of JEM Foundation, was a resounding success, featuring vibrant march-pasts, athletic events, and a spirit of healthy competition, with students and houses receiving numerous accolades.

JAMSHEDPUR – Kashidih High School, under JEM Foundation, celebrated its Annual Sports Day with fervor and excitement.

The event, held on January 20th, was graced by notable guests including Mr. A.F. Madan of JEM Foundation and Principal Mr. Francis Joseph.

A formal welcome with garlands was extended to the guests by the Principal.

The sports meet officially commenced with the hoisting of the school flag by the chief guest.

A tour of the school and inspection of house contingents were conducted, showcasing the school’s commitment to discipline and excellence.

The march-past by the senior and middle school contingents left the audience in awe with its precision and coordination.

School appointees took an oath administered by the guests, symbolizing their dedication to sportsmanship and integrity.

Highlights of the day included a pyramid construction display and various track events, engaging students from pre-primary to high school levels.

In the prize distribution ceremony, exceptional athletes were recognized with medals, trophies, and certificates.

Somnath Mandal and Sangeeta Purti shone as the Best Athlete Boy and Girl respectively in the Junior School, while Mithilesh Yadav and Neha Kumari excelled in the Senior Wing.

Agni House triumphed in the march-past, while Varun House emerged as the overall champion in sports events.

Varun House clinched the top position with 447 points, followed by Surya, Indra, and Agni Houses.

Mrs. Chaitali Rudra, Mrs. Tumpa Kumari, Mr. Shahbanul Haq, and Mohammad Jamshed guided the event’s coordination.

Mrs. Shilpa Kaur, along with primary wing faculty, led the activities.

Vice Principal Rakesh Pandey concluded the event with a vote of thanks, followed by the school anthem, symbolizing unity and pride.
