Jharkhand Govt Urged to Declare 22 January a Public Holiday
In Premnagar, the Sabhya Samaj Karya Samiti requests Jharkhand Government to declare January 22, 2024, as a public holiday in honor of Ramchandra Ji’s life consecration.
JAMSHEDPUR – The demand for a public holiday on January 22, the day of consecration of Rama Mandir in Ayodhya is growing.
An emergency meeting of the Sabhya Samaj Karya Samiti took place today in Premnagar.
Thakur Mukesh Singh, the committee chairman, presided over the meeting.
He appealed to the Jharkhand government for a public holiday on January 22, 2024, to honor Ramchandra Ji’s life consecration.
The day is considered highly auspicious by Sanatani people, and a holiday would allow full devotion.
The appeal aims to align Jharkhand with other states that observe this day as a public holiday.
Committee members Ranjit Singh, Haridyal Rai, Sonu Sharma, Parmanand Nirala, Suraj Mishra, and Ravindra Yadav were notably present.
The request emphasizes understanding and respecting the sentiments of the Sanatani community.
He said that a positive decision by the government on declaring the holiday is eagerly anticipated.
